Twins Sign Adam Everett
Should have
seen this one coming. Ubelman wrote some great stuff on him that I happened
to read before I saw that the Twins signed him, or else I really wouldn’t like
this much. Adam Everett is one of the best defensive shortstops over the last
half-decade. So, he will certainly be a help to the young pitching staff.
Offensively, don’t expect much. Sure, better than Nick Punto,
but not significantly. I’m glad it is just a one year deal, but this is an OK
signing. Everett had been non-tendered by the Astros yesterday after they
acquired Miguel Tejada.
