Monday nights, I play in a little co-ed volleyball league. I'm terrible, but it is usually fun! That, coupled with the fact that there is very little going on in the baseball world right now, unless you consider the Padres signing Dennis Reyes or the Red Sox resigning Doug Mirabelli big deals. So, I think my plans for Tuesdays for the time being will be just to update the Expert Picks standings and call it a day. Unless something big happens that I feel obligated to comment on. Hey, even Peter Gammons, Tim Kirkjian and Ken Rosenthal don't write every day. I can get one day a week off, right?
So, I would encourage everyone to head over to BrentNet and from there, hit the Forums. I have made some comments on the Twins and other things over there. So, check it out. I'm sure the group over there would love to have a few more people chatting. They have topics varying from the Minnesota Sports Scene, to TV and movies, politics, 'Singles' topics, and much more. It really is fun to read and better if you can reply to some of their thoughts.
Now to the Football Picks, again, we had six people go 12-4. Of course, none of them were me, but that's alright! Missy Olson, Aaron Gleeman, Ryan Maus, David Bergner, David Bloom and Vic Quick are our winners. So, how does this week's results affect our overall standings? Let's see? Yup, from worst to first. Last year, Melissa Olson finished last in this competition, and after this week, she is now the leader of the league this year!
