Quick Thoughts
Before I head out of town for another weekend away, I wanted to just mention a couple of things.
Please be sure to check out the Beloit game tonight and hopefully game 5 tomorrow. You can do so by checking out the box scores here.
If you happen to be near a radio on Sunday afternoon, and you are in the general vicinity of St. Cloud (MN), be sure to tune in am 1410 KNSI as I am scheduled to be on during the 1:00 hour with Martin Andrade. It will be some Twins talk. He initially mentioned discussing the future of the Twins, meaning minor leaguers, but my guess is that the subject of Terry Ryan may be brought up.
Be sure to check out Stick & Ball Guy throughout the weekend. I won't have computer access probably before it will be posted, but I know of someone you may know who will be featured in a Better Know a Citizen feature.
Twins host the Tigers this weekend. Matt Garza will face Nate Robertson tonight. It'll be Johan Santana against Kenny Rogers tomorrow with Scott Baker going against Jair Jurrjjens on Sunday.
On Sunday afternoon, the Vikings will be playing the Detroit Lions in what should be a decent game to watch.
If you are looking for good reading material on the Twins or the Vikings, be sure to go to the Twins Geek site where he provides links to any new postings regarding either team.
Brian Duensing will be representing Team USA in the IBAF tournament in Taiwan from November 6-18. It will be interesting to see how that affects his time in the Arizona Fall League or if the Twins will be able to send someone else.
Finally, this weekend and Monday, I will be making the move to the Twin Cities. In many ways I am looking forward to it, although I will always be a small town type. Anyway, there will be some transition time there. However, I will try to post something on Sunday night. I have also already written postings for both Tuesday and Wednesday and hope to have one more written for next week. It is possible/likely that they will not be able to be posted until the morning, rather than late the night before. So, please be patient with me and with this site over the next couple of weeks with this transition time. I do appreciate it very much!
Thanks again for stopping by this site. If you have any questions, comments or ideas for future postings, please e-mail me. Have a great weekend!
