Crazy Weather!
|Good morning All, First, thanks for all the well wishes, and yes, I am old. Second, we are experiencing some crazy weather way up at the top of the great state of Minnesota. It started last night with some funnel clouds, and apparently it is going to be a bit of a scary afternoon and evening today too. So, I am not sure exactly what types of posts I will have today and/or tonight. I will try, but I may need to head elsewhere at any time. If you'd like to keep track of the weather up here, click here.
I have now reviewed all of the Twins minor league box scores. There were some pretty impressive performances over the weekend. Brian Buscher. Tommy Watkins. More quality innings from Nick Blackburn. The middle of the New Britian lineup is now Trevor Plouffe, David Winfree, Matt Moses and Brock Peterson. That's not too bad! Oswaldo Sosa and Yohan Pino were excellent for the Miracle. Brian Dinkelman and Danny Valencia each homered in their first FM game. Matt Betsill had the game winning hit in his first game back with Beloit. It was also the final Beloit start for Jeff Manship who appears headed up to Ft. Myers as well. Chris Parmalee is really playing well now. Greg Yersich has started out well with E-Town. So has Rene Leveret, and Mark Dolenc. And, everyone is excited about how well first-round pick Ben Revere has looked in his few GCL games.
What I do want to do is point you in the direction of Josh's Thoughts, another new member of the Twins blogosphere. He just got started last week, but I think you'll note that he will be very good. Go there for the minor league reports and find much more!
Anyway, I hope I'm back later, but we shall see. Best wishes to Justin Morneau who is flying back to Minnesota. Jason Kubel and Jason Bartlett are hitting well again, and so is Joe Mauer, including tow homers in the game on Sunday. And, how about Johan Santana at DH? Ha! Have a great day!

Seth's B-Day!
Hey everyone, Seth doesn't know I'm doing this, but I thought everyone should know that it is Seth's B-day today!! Here are a couple special b-day wishes for him:
|Hi Seth. Happy birthday to the only guy in the world that has even a bigger passion for baseball than myself. Keep up the good work and take care,
Chris Coste
Seth,
One of the pleasures of being a member of the Twins blogosphere is getting to know people like you. You have been a kind and informative presence for most of the time that I've spent blogging on the Twins. The experience wouldn't have been the same without you, and I'm thankful that I've had the chance to get to know you a little bit through your writing and through your e-mails. Hope your birthday is a blast!
Joshua Taylor
