First Game
Good morning everyone! Welcome back to the work week! I hope you enjoyed your weekend!
I happened to head down to the cities and on Saturday night, my girlfriend, my brother, my sister and I took Jozie to her very first Twins game at the Dome! Yes, it was Saturday night, when the Twins beat the Devil Rays 12-5. The Twins lost on both Friday and Sunday, so I am thinking that the Twins should really hook the five of us up with tickets and travel and lodging for all of the Twins games, home and road. We must be good luck!
Jozie, who turned 11 months old on Sunday, was all excited about going to her first game. As you can see here, she was pretty excited about going! She was almost getting impatient!
Yup, she was
thinking, "Dad, come on! Let's go to the Dome. The gates are opening!"
So, we went, and we finally got there, and she was very relieved!
I really think that she had a lot of fun!
She was so excited! She wanted us to take a SethSpeaks family picture at the game.
Jozie was tired of sitting on Dad's lap. She wanted a seat all to her own.
But, by about the 8th inning... she was just tired!
She tried! OK, I don't know how much of the game she watched. Honestly, I don't know if she even knew she was at a game. But hopefully, we will get to lots more! Maybe someday, Jozie and Baby SBG (who should be here any day!) will be able to watch a game together! It was fun to watch her hear the crowd cheering and by the middle of the game, she was clapping whenever the crowd was.
