Twins Minor
League Weekly
A couple of
weeks ago, Travis Aune
e-mailed me and had a great idea. He thought that the two of us should do a
weekly Twins minor league podcast. I am now doing The Show with Seth Stohs on SethSpeaks.net on Sunday
nights. Travis hosts the Travis Talks Minnesota Sports
podcast on Monday nights. I used to do my podcast on Tuesday nights,
but that is now open, so we decided we would try it.
Tonight, we
co-hosted the first
episode of Twins Minor League Weekly. It was really a Twins minor
league preview show. We spent time talking about each of the Twins’ four
full-season affiliate’s rosters, and some of the players and stories at each
level. The 90 minute show also contained
interviews with both Kyle Gibson and
Joe Benson. 90 minutes may not have
been enough.
But each week,
Travis and I will discuss the goings-on in the Twins farm system. As has been
pointed out several times, even with increased revenues and payrolls, the Twins
should remain a team dedicated to build from within. We won’t just talk about
the top prospects. Each player in the system deserves the recognition for
accomplishments and we will attempt to do that each week, but hopefully in a
fun and entertaining way.
So as you’re
sitting at work, on a treadmill or any place you’re able to, listen to the first
episode of Twins Minor League Weekly. We would love to hear any feedback
