American Idol Thoughts
Well, I am a little upset that the Twins game is not on TV in the outstate tonight. Instead, the option is to watch the Timberwolves. But, I did have to watch American Idol this week, and thought I would post my rankings on their performances from the evening.
Melinda Doolittle - She's great and she is just gaining confidence.
Jordin Sparks - Her voice is just so pure.
Chris Robertson - I wasn't as high on him as the judges, but he was good.
Gina Glocksen - Really showed up by singing "Smile", a terrific song!
Lakisha - Good job, good power.
Blake Lewis - very good, great performance.
Haley Scarnato - Although both Paula and Simon were right in their initial comments, I also thought she was good vacally too.
Phil Stacy - I definitely thought that this was a good genre for him. That didn't work out for him.
Sanjaya Malakar - This kid is so arrogant, it's annoying. Simon was hilarious with his "Let's try a different approach.. Incredible!" comment. This was as bad as it gets!
