The Demographic Surveys have really been helpful this time around. I have received about 90 responses so far and welcome you to scroll down this page and tell me what you think about this site. Yesterday, I mentioned three things that people definitely don't like about this site. One of those things was American Idol Thoughts. However, most of those people did say that it is my site and I can do what I want with it and they'll just skip it. That's true. I'm not sure what will happen with the American Idol Thoughts this season. Maybe I'll start next week with the Final 12, but I have to admit, I'm just not into this season as I had been in the past. That said, I have a couple of thoughts on tonight's episode. First, Randy and Paula are annoying and talk too much. As we all know, Paula talks and words come out, but they just don't mind a lot of sense! Simon is now the only judge who makes any sense. As for the performances, nothing was horrible, but nothing really stood out as great. Syeesha was by far the best, and because of the judges' yapping, all they could say about her was "Good." That's too bad. But it was disappointing because unlike the guys, the women really didn't do anything exciting. Nothing worth getting excited about. I shouldn't say that. One singer made a song her own, and although the judges loved it, I really didn't. So, not real sure what I expect from the elimination show tonight. That said, I am excited because Blake Lewis will be singing, so that is a good thing!
OK, sorry about that all you baseball-only fans!! Just a couple of quick baseball notes.
First, Carl Pohlad came in at #114 on Forbes list of the 100 Richest Americans.
JD Durbin gave up two homers to Carlos Guillen and another to Magglio Ordonez. Not good news! But somehow, Durbin lasted four innings in his start for the Phillies. In other words, he must have been alright without those long balls!
If you were unable to watch the Twins game on ESPN or the internet yesterday, please check out the Comments from the Yankees/Twins Game posting below.
Finally, one other thing that has come out of the Demographic Survey is that many of you enjoyed it when I took reader's questions. So I will again ask that you submit your questions in the Comments below. Ask me about anything baseball related (Twins, Other teams, predictions, fantasy baseball, anything that isn't too personal, I'll be happy to answer). I will take questions here as long as this posting is on this page.
Have a good day!
