Playoff Picks
Hello everyone! I like the
three day work week! That is a great concept. Anyway, the NFL season is
complete and Josh Taylor was our NFL
“Expert” Pick champion this year. I thought it would be fun to make playoff
picks too. I invited those who participated in the NFL “Expert” Picks this
year, but I also added several others to the list as well. There are a couple
more Twins prospects. There are a few more Twins bloggers. I would encourage
you to at least check out their sites, specifically, be sure to head over the
TwinsCards.com (more specifically Tony,
Killer and Carew) today where they are announcing a monthly trivia contest
which should be a lot of fun.
We not only have Twins
starter Kevin Slowey,
but we have his brother Dan who is involved with the Blogonoscopy
site. I’m sorry, maybe that should be… We not only have Dan Slowey from Blogonoscopy,
but we also have his brother Kevin, who pitches for the Twins. Sorry, I don’t
want to cause any issues!
I would like to take a minute
to thank both Erik Lis
and Garrett Olson for participating
in this. Lis spent the 2007 season with the Ft. Myers
Miracle while Olson played for that great Beloit Snappers team.
Jonathan Mayo
is involved. He had been involved in the NFL “Expert” panel in previous years,
but he was quite busy this year so he wasn’t able to. He is a senior writer for
MLB.com. And I have been on Jack
Michaels radio show on Bismarck-Mandan’s ESPN affiliate The Fan 710 several
times. Jack is kind enough to participate in this as well.
Note – if there are any
others out there in the Twins organization who are interested in participating,
please e-mail me your picks. If there are other writers or bloggers who would
like to do this, please send me your picks. I will include picks that I receive
by the kickoff of the first game on Saturday.
